Voting Mad is my first blog.

I have been a mad voter ever since I could vote, and I have a love/hate relationship with politics. Love in the sense that I am fascinated by the subject and its impact on mankind. Hate in the sense that I hate politicians and the political systems that currently rule mankind.

The only way I can deal with this duality is by writing about it.

I am an open-minded Democrat with many Republican friends. I am an extremely loyal supporter of Barack Obama and his policies, and passionately resentful of the disasterous W/Cheney administration. However, I am convinced that the USA would benefit greatly from a credible, independent, moderate, 3rd political party.
